Zone E located to the east of the Expo Boulevard in the Puxi Section, will host stand-alone corporate pavilions, Urban Civilization Pavilion, Urban Exploration Pavilion and the Urban Best Practices Area.
Vanke PavilionLocated to the west of the Huanpu River, the Corporate Pavilion of Vanke, a top Chinese property developer, consists of seven gold straw houses that graciously display the health and vigor of life. The pavilion, with its facade made of wheat straw, comprises seven independent tube-shaped buildings with their tops connected through blue light-filtering ETFE plastic films. The seven tube-shaped buildings are surrounded by over 1,000 square meters of water. With the water reflecting the sky, visitors will experience the intimacy with nature.


Information and Communication PavilionThe pavilion promises a dream-like light fantasy on its surface. It will take visitors on an interactive fun journey exploring cutting-edge information and communication technologies, their applications and influence over the next 10 years and how they will help usher in a convenient and better life.


Vancouver PavilionThe Vancouver Pavilion is an innovative structure that shows the versatility of wood by combining conventional linear elements with unexpected spherical elements. The Pavilion is designed with green building materials. The exposed wood structure contains exhibits that will encourage visitors to explore the advantages of building with wood.
