Revolving around the theme ‘Cities of Plan, Cities of Harmony’, Chad will introduce the concept that people’s living environment can be improved by maintaining balance among man, city and nature.

The pavilion mainly consists of five areas: Entrance –City with Yardangs, Ethnics and Culture Area, Economy and Resources Area, Urban Planning Area and Interactive Area. The decoration of the Entrance reflects Chad’s special landform, Yardangs. Films will be shown on walls to present the country’s fascinating landscapes and simplistic and enthusiastic folk culture. The appearance of Ethnic Culture Area resembles traditional Chadian houses with dome. In this area, visitors will be able to see the real exhibits, and learn about Chadian ethnic culture through multimedia interfaces.

In 2007, CGO group Co., Ltd and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Chad signed a contract to contracted the highway project from Wumahaji to Abéché. The project is located in eastern Chad. The highway is total length of 146 kilometers including 6 bridges. The total contract worth about 120 million dollars financed by the Chad's oil development fund.

The project is the largest contract projects received by Chinese company since China and Chad resumed diplomatic relations, and is of great significance to the promotion of cooperation of China and Chad.
